Why We Like it Here at Haas Lake RV campground

We like it here because the campground is in New Hudson, MI [see A below on map] only about 30 minutes from Adam [B].  It is two hours away from the Bakers [C] (Meghan's parents) who live in Petrolia, Canada.
So we really like the location.

Another thing we like about the campground here are the 'lakes'.  They are small at best, but they are still nice.  Our campground backs right up to one.
It has been raining a bit but I took a few pictures of some nice sites near ours when the sun was out.
We also like being able to have a campfire.  There is something about a campfire that appeals to me.
How about you?  What do you like about the campground where you are staying?

Thanks for viewing the Roadrunner Chronicles!  We love those comments ~ keep them coming!

  1. Looks like a great spot to camp, Randy. Thanks for putting in the map too, it's always nice to get an idea of where these places are and how far you are from everything you talk about in your blogs!

  2. It turned green yesterday in Anchorage. We always say do not come up here before 10 May and this year is the same. All the trees put on leaves in a 24 to 48 hour time frame, it is amazing what all this Sun does. Our company sent an Email to let us know, we only had 5 weeks left before the days start getting shorter. That was a real party pooper.
Once again I suggest you guys should go check out Greenfield Village and spend a day. There are buildings and houses from all over the world. Eddisons lab, Wright Brothers shop, Firestone barn, first electric power plant etc. They have people to explain everything and answer questions too. It is a good place to take your mind off things.
