We took our time on Monday morning to pack up and leave Escapees Rainbow's End Park.
I updated the blog while Pam did another load of wash. Then I went over to the registration desk and checked out. Our stay cost us $16.00 per night with full hookups. My kind of place.We left after we had a sandwich for lunch. We went about a mile down the road to Red Barn.
Red Barn is a building supply and hardware company with a set of scales. They weigh RV's and we have wanted to get that done for a long time. The good news is that we weigh 32,500 lbs. I was thinking we were in the 38,000 lb range. So that is good to know.However, there is more to do. The facility did not have the capability to weigh each wheel separately. That is the real information we need so we can more properly inflate each tire to a right air pressure.
It took us a couple of hours to get to Nacogdoches, Texas. We are here at the Foretravel RV factory. We want to see how they make their coaches. Maybe we can learn some things we can apply to our Tiffin Allegro Bus. 
We arrived mid afternoon and found a place to park on the Foretravel factory grounds. They have water and electricity on a paved lot. Very nice place.

We even got the local paper delivered to our rig this morning! Is this a nice place or what? And we haven't even been inside yet to sign up for the tour later today.
After getting set up we went downtown to the Visitors Center and Museum and found they have a walking tour mapped out. Nacogdoches is the oldest town in Texas and dates back to 1779 when the Spanish mission was given a 'pueblo' or town designation in that year.
They also had a display of the "Nine Flags Over Texas". I thought there were only six but they list the following:
- Spain: 1519-1685, 1690-1821
- France: 1685-1690
- Magee's Republican Army: 1812
- Long Expedtion: 1819
- Mexico: 1821-1836
- Fredonia: 1826-1827
- Republic of Texas: 1836-1845, State 1845-Present
- USA: 1845-1861, 1865-Present
- Confederate States of America: 1861-1865
