Roadrunner Financials - March 2011

Roadrunner Recap
We spent the month at the very nice Air Force FamCamp at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson.  We kept busy with seeing the sights in the area and volunteering with the local Habitat for Humanity group.  the HFH has 350 volunteers working on seven houses! This is the biggest affiliate we have worked with.

We also spent plenty of time meeting new people at the campground and exploring the area with hikes to Sabino Canyon - one of our favorite parks in the area.

Our only location for the month was:
  • Davis-Monthan AFB Agave Campground, Tucson AZ

Good News Areas We Are Under Budget
We didn't spent any money on diesel fuel or RV/Car maintenance so that save us quite a bit.

Biggest Expenses
Our medical costs were off the charts this month with an $800 annual MOAA Tricare Supplement membership.  We also paid for an eye exam and new glasses which were $238.

Large One Time Cost Items

We upped our membership for another year with Escapees which cost $60.

Monthly Average

We were well over our budget of $3925 this month, primarily because of our medical costs.  But the overall averages the last few months we are happy with.

That's what our spending looked like for the month.  Thanks for taking a peek.  Hopefully they provide help or entertainment of some sort...  If you'd like a free copy of the spreadsheet I use, drop me a note and I will be glad to send it along.

Thanks for joining us on the Roadrunner Chronicles!
