I have to admit, the weather kind of matched how I have been feeling over the last few days. I guess I picked up a bit of a cold and so it comes and goes. You know the routine, you feel fine, take a walk, then the next thing you know you have a achy spell, your head throbs and you feel like a soggy soup sandwich. But it is definitely a low grade deal so, we'll get going with things.

Yesterday was a big move day for us and we were able to get into the full hookup sites. We were ready to roll when our number came up and we were over there by about 9:30 AM.
We were a little surprised how tight the spaces were. It took us no less that four attempts to get situated. We had to make sure we could open the sewer and water compartment door on one side
and also open the big awning on the other side without hitting some branches.
We got all that done and started opening slideouts. I was not quick enough to see if the slideout had clearance. The bad news is that it was pushing against the electrical post and we got some deep scratches. Ugh!
Thank goodness for the paint touch up kit we got back at Red Bay back in December. I can see my TO DO list growing...
The rest of the day we hung around the campsite and didn't really do much. I fought with my internet connection without too much success. I finally had to call Automobile Net. They said there was some trouble with Verizon. ?? That sounded kind of strange...but within 30 minutes I was back in business. After the hour of troubleshooting on my own, rebooting, waiting on hold for a technician...the typcial stuff. But the good news is that it appears to be working again.
We went for a walk and watched the clouds roll in. We had some intermittent showers but no real downpour.

I'm sorry to hear about your scratch/dent on the slide. You do have a most beautiful castle on wheels. The sites are nice, but some are better for big rigs with slides. My old clunker fits with room to spare, but it looked like a clown car when it was parked next to you at Del Mar. There is a really good Mexican restraunt on Speedway, just before Kolb. It is called Macayo I think. There is a really good Chinese restraunt on Speedway, it is Lotus Garden. For steaks and a real tourist shootout cowboy scene, go early to Pinicle Peak. The filet and sauted mushrooms are to die for. Did you notice I was obese? The day tour of Kitt peak observertory is fun and educational. There is a planet viewing night each week downtown at the University observertory and it is free. We really enjoy that. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Tucson.
