The Roadrunner spent entire month in Virginia Beach
- JEB Little Creek Navy Base, Virginia Beach VA
We spent the whole month of March with the Roadrunner parked at our spot at the JEB Little Creek Amphibious Base MWR Campground. We did however, take a seven day trip up to Fairfax to remodel Adam and Melissa's basement den. That is the longest we have spent out of the motorhome since we bought it almost six years ago.
Good News Areas We Are Under Budget
We spent less than expected in:
- Diesel fuel
- Gas
- Campground fees
Biggest Expenses
Our biggest cost items for the month included food (Groceries and Eating Out) and for supplies for fixing up the house we worked on.
Large One Time Cost Item
We paid our H&R Block Income tax bill which was $322.
Monthly Average
Our monthly average decreased a few dollars and we are still well under our $4100 monthly target, so this is good news.
That's a snapshot of how we're feeling about the cost of things on this Full-Time Journey. We are in month 63 of doing it.
Hopefully, some of the thoughts and figures are of some interest/value/curiosity. If you'd like a blank spreadsheet of what I use I'd be glad to send you it at no charge to do with what you wish.
Thanks for joining us today on the Roadrunner Chronicles!
