Roadrunner Financials - May 2011

Roadrunner Recap
We spent the month in NM first seeing Reid and Amy.  Then we went up to Santa Fe and had a great time supporting the Habitat for Humanity affiliate with some other RVers (aka Care-A-Vanners).
Our locations:

  • Kirtland AFB Famcamp, Albuquerque NM
  • Rodeo Grounds, Santa Fe NM

The interactive Google Map below shows our travels for the month.

We had a lot of extra spending going on during the month primarily because I decided to lump the yearly payment into May.  If you only have $90 in the category, it works out a lot better.

Good News Areas We Are Under Budget
We had a good month saving on our campground fees again.

Biggest Expenses
Other than the Yearly insurance, we were over on gas for the car, TV/internet and eating out.

Large One Time Cost Items
We bought a Lexmark printer at Sam's Club that was $173.

Monthly Average

This clearly shows we are over budget for that last three months (Mar, Apr and May).  Medical costs account for Mar and Apr high totals and in May it was due to a decision to put the yearly insurance payment into one month.  All in all, its manageable but higher than we'd like.

That's what our spending looked like for the month.  Thanks for taking a peek.  Hopefully they provide help or entertainment of some sort...  If you'd like a free copy of the spreadsheet I use, drop me a note and I will be glad to send it along.

Thanks for joining us on the Roadrunner Chronicles!
