We finally decided on a Class A because Pam would feel more comfortable in the tear/down set up with a Class A vs a 5th wheel. We've spent time working on the spreadsheets and will have a nest egg to use for contingencies so all the money will not be tied up in the RV. You are absolutely correct -- an RV is a depreciating asset so if/when we do something else we are planning accordingly. We are going into this thinking we will be out there 10 years.Roadrunner Chronicleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15720107862190088369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886120447635133317.post-39077076780682726612009-04-09T15:57:00.000-04:002009-04-09T15:57:00.000-04:00Hey Randy, Just wanted to let you know that I foll...Hey Randy, Just wanted to let you know that I follow you guy's and I'm pulling for you to get on the road soon. We own a 5er and camp all the time and looking forward to be a snowbird.. The reason and question by her is "What happens if you get seriously ill and can't travel, how do you get back to a house when all the money is tied up in an RV and the RV is depreciated in price?" Do you have a backup plan should this happen?Larry and Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16585843859866864873noreply@blogger.com
